Book Description
The first Geneva Bible opened the pages of Scripture for all readers and provided helpful notes to assist in the understanding of its central message. The Reformation Study Bible, under the editorial leadership of reformed scholars such as R.C. Sproul and J.I. Packer, offers a modern restatement of Reformation truth for the broad evangelical community. A wonderful resource for anyone who desires to understand the impact the powerful truths of the Reformation have had on today's church. Available in the New King James Version.

Excellent study notes! Perfect for Bible studies. I would have liked to have this as a first Bible, because I had such a struggle with the KJV. Now, I try to look up verses I learned from the NIV and am totally lost. We are not a people of verses, but of books though. I think, this is really close to the original version and less wooden than the NASV.
I believe that all people need to read this version of the Bible. The notes are very well written (by RC Sproul). I recommend to all, not just those who are reformed.

I saw a website that said read through the Bible in 90 days. Well, they said to read 12 pages a day everyday and you will be done in 90 days. This Bible is bigger than regular Bibles because it has comments throughout by RC Sproul, so I have to read 21 pages a day to finish in 90 days. It does even out though because some of the pages only have 1/4 of the actual Bible verses on it, while the other 3/4 is RC's comments. For now I am just reading the Bible part. The next time I read the Bible I will read the comments too. :o)
Well, God bless!
