A little disappointing after having read A Simple Plan. The story is good and it is is true that you can't stop reading it. But the quality of the writing is not so good, and if it wasn't because you want to see how the main story goes on, there are moments when the book is just boring. This story had great potential but I felt it was a little stale. It fell flat. I knew how it would end halfway through the story. I was also disappointed that there wasn't any real explaination of the why's or how's. This of course is just my opinion and many others like it....Continua

This is a very exciting and innovative story. It brings me into the situation and let me experience the horror.
However, it's a bit slow and too detail in descriptions.
Quite an absorbing page-turner. Slow at times, description of the characters' minds a bit too laborious to read. No twists whatsoever, but the atmosphere is tense throughout. You keep waiting for a relief or a good turning point, but it never comes. It's quite a chilling and depressing story overall....Continua
