A very nice book, full of "common sense". Nothing completely new in it: the "Rules of Life" are the ones everyone already knows, but a reminder can be useful from time to time! ;)
I like "The Rules of Work" and "The Rules of Management" very much. But this book, "The Rules of Life" seems a bit dogmatic to me. Life is a series of experiences. Any hard core "rules" just does not fit without any enlightenment.
This book was interesting, engaging and enthralling. It's very simple and to the point.
A set of numbered rules, from 1 -100, read out in order with an explanation of why and how they will improve your life. Many were common sense but some, admittedly, I could do with paying attention to.
All in all a very helpful book to remind you of basic rules in life....Continua
Very basic rules that we should follow in life.. those that we should have known.. yet it is always good to have some reminder. Most of the rules boils down to be considerate to others and be positive, yet these are lessons that extends for a lifetime....Continua
I find these books difficult to read from start to finish, they lend themselves too easily to dipping in, but I reckon the real benefit (if there is any benefit) is gained from consistent reading, chapters in order, from start to finish.
Also, I wish I knew what the author's background and upbringing is about - he keeps making reference to it, without explanation... need to research him I think, to take the mystery out of it.
