A bit disappointing
Too many threads and not all tied up at the end. Too many characters too. It felt like once the plot had been laid out and was progressing relatively nicely, the author threw a few more characters at the end only to have them blamed for the crimes. ...Continua

I started reading Cornwell's books after a long pause.... maybe it should have been a longer pause.... very stiff, did not flow as her other books. Scarpetta looks almost stupid and boring. Too many words too little story
