    This book started very well, it really got me hooked, but soon I was bogged down trying to piece together the series of events that make up the confusing randomness of the story.     This book started very well, it really got me hooked, but soon I was bogged down trying to piece together the series of events that make up the confusing randomness of the story. Meri, didn't strike me as a very believable character, and Nate was incredibly one dimensional. Delia, felt more fleshed out and the absence of Tom through most of the book was I think a waste.
