The sci-fi setting is purely an instrument, to let Vonnegut tell his fantastic tale about free will, military criticism and even love. Such a bastard, this book! It will make you laugh you ass off and cry without warning! Yet, oddly enough

Unbelievably clever, witty and creative, this book turned me on to the genius that is Kurt Vonnegut.

Love Vonnegut, but this book just didn't quite do it for me for some reason.
