A decent introduction to modern economics, but I found it quite dry, and not really that good. It was summer reading before entering the Ph.D. class at University of Western Ontario. The later chapters are more interesting.

Not bad, but you could get the same information from any number of econ blogs and be far more entertained while doing so.
