The Story of Edgar Sawtelle : A NovelBlog this item
    • It took me forever to get through this book and I think it was because the first 300 pages were terribly slow. The ending wasn't what I expected, so that was good, but the book is just soooo long!

    • A really good book, but the ending totally ticked me off. Not what I expected at all, and not in a good way! Darn it!

    • Drags on too much for me
    • I was totally bored with this. Maybe, I need a quicker pace. I read 300 pages and it felt like I got nothing out of it. Why is this so popular?

    • Beautifully written and plotted - this is easily one of the most compelling books I've read all year. Plus, this author really knows dogs. His canine characters are every bit as diverse, developed, and realistic as their human counterparts.

    • I don't see how people say this book is for dog lovers. They kill a dog on the 4th page. This book clearly isn't for me.
