I really enjoyed it. I love reading thrillers during our summer hols and Grisham's are a good choice for that. No tension, no adrenaline, no suspencs. Simply a lawyer that fights against poverty and injustice. Simple, and very nice novel.
I liked this one, but probably only because I like most anything by Grisham. His style fits me. Grisham's liberal agenda is front and center most of the book, but his story gives a little more insight into the lives of the homeless.
Lawyers often seem to others working for money but not for the people. But actually lawyers can make good use of their skills to help out others, esp those in real need.
