Banale e ingenuo: nella trama e nella caratterizzazione dei personaggi. In effetti anche il film che ne ha tratto Hitchcock non è un capolavoro, e comunque non certo uno dei suoi migliori.
A classic British espionage book. Loved it !
This book was written during World War I but is so contemporary another film edition would equal the Bourne Ultimatum or Bond. This book is so clever and exciting throughout, it's a book that can and should be read and not become lost because it's not 'new'. <br />This book pits one guy against spies, villagers, police and military while overcoming an assassination while using only the clothes on his back and his wits to survive; I love this book!
