The time? 802,701 A.D.

The place? An Earth stranger than you can imagine.

The people? A pretty, childlike race, the Eloi-and their distant cousins, the Morlocks: disgusting, hairy creatures who live in caves and feed on the flesh of-what?

I read it freely on my iPod Touch thanks to the Gutenberg Project. It's the first book I'm not reading on paper so it was interesting… And I could smell the old pages even though it's on a electronic device. I liked the story. Some parts are questionable to me but, seriously, all the thinking Wells put into this must be huge. It felt like everything has been thought, on the scientific level, on the social level, etc… This new world is so intriguing. It's all about a man's will to see how the world as we know it will end. The end was surprising.
