The truth about melody browne is about melody rediscovering her childhood at 34, having had her memory wiped out when she was nine. Overall it was a good read and melody's childhood story was sad and touching. Only aspect of the book I am not too happy with is that I feel the 'adult' and 'child' character of Melody reads a bit disjointed - I just don't feel the same character in different times was connected enough, I'd go as far as saying that it reads like two different person; the adult part could definitely have been better written. Nonetheless I would recommend this book, and will look for more Jewell's book to read in future (this is my first!).
