  This book stands out among the rest of the Narnia books as being the one most full of adventures, one most unpredictable. In most other fantasy books you expect to see some kind of great battle or showdown at the end, but not this one. There isn't even a proper climax. But the imagination, the intrigue, and the surprise that C. S. Lewis offers in this book more than make up for the lack of bloodshed usually found elsewhere.

  I enjoyed this, but it was a little to heavy on the allegory for my tastes. Still, it was about what I expected.
