  It's a great intro to a series that may well define a decade just as "The Wheel of Time" did. The only issue I had with this was a female character who, if you've read Sanderson before, may be just a touch too familiar, and the size of the book is a doozy (about 1000 pages). But this one is definitely worth reading despite it's flaws.
