  This is the first novel I have read by this author, I enjoyed it so much that I shall look for others by him. It is a very romantic story and unusual because it is written by a male from the male point of view. Having been married a similar number of years myself i found it rather moving.

  I loved "The Notebook" and I was excited to see the next chapter of Noah and Allie's lives- and their children.

  It was a very wonderful and romantic story, with real feeling and oddly, a similar timeline to the one of my own family (my parent's 29th anniversary a few months from our own wedding).

  I was touched by the story, and given ideas of how to rekindle the love and face what may become my own workaholic future, if I don't be careful!

  Probably the most romantic book I've ever read - maybe too much so. 56 yr old guy realizes that his marriage has gone a little stale. He spends a year "courting" his wife again, culminating in the most unbelievable romantic gesture ever. Every married woman's ultimate dream.

  By the time I've got to this book, I've grown pretty tired of Nicholas Spark's antiques. The plots generally go like this: isolation/absence of purpose, then passion and elation, then death or something else depressing.

  As if I don't get enough of this drama in real life.
