I wasn't expecting half of the twists and turns involved with this book!
The story follows Rose, a woman serving eight years in prison and Cate, a newly appointed parole officer. Whilst in prison, Rose writes a Black Book which details her life to give to her partner on the outside.
Whilst this book was hard to read at times, a lot of the content is quite sad, it is well worth the ups and downs! I'd figured out who was to blame around half way through but I still wanted to read more and more. I enjoyed the twists throughout and would definitely recommend this book!
I wouldn't strictly call The Woman Before Me a thriller. It's not your average 'police chase killer' book but nevertheless, there are lots of different parts that come together in the end.
Very enjoyable despite its darkness. Worth a read!...Continua
