Another young adult book worth reading, the story is actually fairly short but sweet, it's the illustrations that make this book amazing (and it has tons of illustrations since part of the story is told through the pictures).

I'm still reading it. But from the moment I got the book, I was fully blown away & speechless. This is an amazing book. Way exceeded my expectation.

I will give four stars to the illustrations and how the author presented the story.

a small masterpiece for pre-teens and adults too

It the story of a nipper living in a train station in 30s Paris. Full of conjuring, automata, mysteries, clockwork, sadness and old/new family ties. A collectors' book and an ingenious combination of novel, graphic novel, silent film.

  • Loved every single page!!!

The book in once sentence: A 12-year-old Parisian orphan makes a startling discovery of a man's true - and astounding - identity.

My thoughts: This is one of the most amazing books I have ever read, and I really, really think you should read it. No, get your own copy!
