  The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4

  SO. FREAKING. FUNNY. I love this book! The author has written in excellently, and has a great voice!! It is just hilarious. You'll laugh until you cry when you read it!!

• I love this book, my Dad brought it home one night, some guy at work was giving it away. I started to read it, in the end my Dad gave it to me. I've read it 3 times at the moment, and still i cant stop laughing out loud at some parts!!

  Heart warming

  This is a wonderful portrayal of a young boy finding himself. It makes you laugh out loud and reach for the tissues. Read it!

  I think these diaries of Adrian Mole should be really true to life of teenagers in the 80s. But I am not quite sure if there were many families in GB in the same situation as Adrian's family's.

  I think these diaries of Adrian Mole should be really true to life of teenagers in the 80s. But I am not quite sure if there were many families in GB in the same situation as Adrian's family's.
  I am actually very fond of the hero--Adrian Mole. He has a heart of gold and is always ready to help others. And it impresses me how much he reads! He is really trying hard to be intellectual!
  It's interesting to be bombarded of so much mild irony from a teenager. It's not too bad for me when I compare the irony with what I had with Catch-22, which is totally different.
  By the way, I didn't intended to really British writers successively but I ended up reading two in a row. There is so much colloquialism! I have to say that I've had an intensive course of informal British English.
