Just like donuts....
sickly sweet and doughy... not too much to this story except maybe the idea that if you have enough money you can lavish it on those you have previously done wrong / want to make friends with and it'll be alright... lovely :(

The person who suggested we read this was keen to point out this isn't representative of her other novels, so I guess don't judge this author by this book!
