the final six months of WWII with her dear friend Grace by her side. The arrival of Albert, a wounded French Resistance fighter at her hospital in Dijon stirs her heart, an emotion she lacks the skills to deal with. The devastation of the war-torn theatre threatens to rip them apart before their lives together can even begin. In spite of their mutual efforts, the decision falls to the cruelty of war.
