ISBN 0027690202 - You should know, before you buy this book, that you'll be required (not by law, although it should be!) to tickle your child at the end. You think that's not important? It's VERY important! It makes Tickle, Tickle a great book for little ones.
A group of very young children play in the mud, get a bath, brush their hair and, of course, get tickled!
The first thing that ought to catch your eye is the racial diversity of the kids - it's right there on the cover, and continues throughout the book, with parents of different races helping them. That's a major plus, in my opinion. The illustrations are cute and despite some vibrant colors, have the feel of "gentle" pastels. There is very little text, and not much in the way of a storyline, making this an excellent book for the very young (up to about 18-24 months) and less enticing for older children. And all children will appreciate the tickle you really do owe them at the end!
