Beautiful story of a land cursed to oblivion - whose conquered denizens have been scattered and magically forbidden to ever repeat the name of their homeland.
This is a magnificent story of the struggle for identity - both personal and political. It's amazing, what Mr. Kay does with the subject. His characters are, as always, well-rounded and real in their actions and reactions. A sweeping adventure story, a love story, a hero-story. This is one of the most beautiful novels I've ever read. Highly, highly recommended.
