I read it freely on my iPod Touch thanks to the Gutenberg Project. It's the first book I'm not reading on paper so it was interesting… And I could smell the old pages even though it's on a electronic device. I liked the story. Some parts are questionable to me but, seriously, all the thinking Wells ... (continue)

As I have said, I love the plot, how the story is started, and how the story is ending. Altough I was kind of pissed off with the ending, but it what things should be. Imagine, when a person is going to the future, undergo their life for a few years, and back to their time, and late just about a few hours? If he had take some prove from the future, things wouldn't going right. You can't solve mystery from the future. Future is mystery as the past is a history. He is deserve to live and dead in the future. The first travel brings him to some creatures, and he is learning their languages, their culture, and their lifestyles. He is telling everyone but the others thinks that he had gone mad. The second travel brings him to stay forever and after right toward the future. I love the story because it is fair, and the person who had have the experience is not the main character. The second character is taking over the story in that book, but the main character is remain as the person who is telling us about the story. Actually, I've once thinks that maybe we had actually made it to travels through time. People might say that if we had succesful in travelling time, why wouldn't we, from the future, coming back to visit us? And maybe, the UFO that had always seens is the time machine, and human being from the future had some revolution from us, right now, to some small and short alien-faces human being? I think maybe lots of people thinks that H.G. Wells is crazy but he is using logic and imagination. This book should get an awards! (I'd read it in my school library, but the cover is not fully yellow-coloured like that, it had a man with time machine on it. And the book is using recycled old paper, with small sized)
