I was amazed at the amount of action packed into the plot of this 300+ page book. It was almost more than I could handle but Karen Chance drops the most amazing bits of info into her plot that I was instantly drawn back in when I would have been put off. I am glad this is a series and it is not just about vamps. Can't wait for the next one!

Brilliant. Well-rounded characters, with a heroine that has her flaws as well as her good points. She wasn't too strong or too wet. An enjoyable plot that definitely left me wanting to read the next book (which I did!)
