Tourism and Postcolonialism

Tourism and Postcolonialism draws together theoretical and applied research in order to illuminate the links between tourism, colonialism and postcolonialism. Significantly, the book aims to create a space for the voices of authors from postcolonial countries. Chapters are integrated and examined through concepts drawn from the wide postcolonial literature and identify tourism not only as a postcolonial cultural form but also as an international industry, which by its very nature is based on past and present day colonial structural relationships.
