Some of the essays written for this book are useful and helpful to put "Carosello" in the perspective of Italy's national education as an industrial and a consumers' country in the 1960s and 1970s. Some of the quotations from earlier interviews and essays are also valuable. The choice of quoting all sources at the end makes them less valuable. A summary or pointer to a biography of people quoted would have been helpful.
