  • It was alright

    Yeh, it was alright, worth reading - not mind blowing. Preferred the Concise Dictionary novel that I read first. However it does provide an interesting insight into Chinese culture and living. What else has she written? I think I might like to try another story.

    I've been into this author since Concise Dictionary for Chinese and English Lovers. This book also ranks A. She is a really intelligent, witty writers who rarely found in China.

    she is a real genius as she can vividly depict Chinese lives in superstition, traditional gender believes and even the different perspectives between East and West. I somehow feel the knot in my heart after reading it.

    20 fragments can be stored up as a life-memories and histories.

  • Heavenly B in the Sky...that's good book !

    No non-sense, witty...it's like getting to spend a few minutes a day with someone you've known for a long time...
    Very nice surprise.
    Highly recommended whether you live China or not. It will give you a few useful insights...
