Influenced by acid psychedelia and probably written under the usage of LSD, 'Ubik' it is an opera which has possibly no time and that refuges from all the kind of possible definition. The same of the world in which the plot is set.
I usually stay away from sci-fi. This book goes beyond sci-fi and takes you on a philosophical journey into what we perceive as real and in doing so it is never boring, never is a word too much and it keeps you dangling till the end. Como todo libro de Dick, Ubik es muy filosófico y lleva a la reflexión. Engancha rápidamente con su historia y su final te va a dejar un buen rato pensando. Quizás sea un poco corto, pero 100% recomendado.
Immagino di non poter essere io a dire qualcosa di nuovo su questo capolavoro. Il mio Dick preferito: per quanto possa essere una scelta banale, racchiude tutte le cose che più amo dei suoi romanzi e riesce a farsi divorare con una rapidità che a volte è mancata....Continua
