There are lots of techniques and information in this book. I use this book as a reference. To achieve good flexibility without injuries, one needs to incessantly perform stretching routines.
Following the book directly maybe a bit dangerous, as everyone has different body structure. For example, a muscular person has stronger muscles to protect his joints versus a less muscular person who may suffer from over stretching. As the results the joints are prone to injuries. There are lots of minor things I wish the book can cover in details. Like isometric stretching, the role of increasing body temperature before stretching, the role of stretching before and after workout.
