Il migliore della serie(sino ad ora),per la trama complessa,per l'equilibrio tra ironia,romanticismo e drammaticità.Iniziato come una storia rosa si è trasformata in un giallo,con un un complicato intreccio di situazioni originali e coerenti.Avevamo lasciato gli Argenau sulle tracce di Marguerita,la ritroviamo in questo libro a spiegarci quello che è accaduto e quello che succederà...che ha veramente dell'eccezionale,non avrei mai immaginato nulla di simile.Brillante,ironica,intensa,intrigante con una scrittura sempre tesa a catturare il lettore,la Sands è diventata una delle mie scrittrici preferite.

At the beginning of the series, Marguarite was my least favorite character. As the series progressed I started liking her because I saw how much she loved her family. Now in her own book after finding out how much she has suffered and still never gave up, Marguarite has become one of my favorite. This is a must read!

I'm reading the Argeneau books out of order, but honestly, each book stands on it's own rather well. It's really interesting to get to know the family and extended family characters. I love really involved series like this!

I am only on like chapter two so give me some more time to read it and I will tell you more on how I like it.
