  Grande successo americano, ma a metà smette di essere letteratura e diventa televisione.

  Ed è un peccato, perché le prime cento pagine abbondanti mostravano una bella capacità di lasciar andare la penna, penna per modo di dire, per abbandonarsi a un flusso interiore molto piacevole e potente.   Ed è un peccato, perché le prime cento pagine abbondanti mostravano una bella capacità di lasciar andare la penna, penna per modo di dire, per abbandonarsi a un flusso interiore molto piacevole e potente. Però dopo queste prime pagine il flusso interiore pian piano diventa sempre meno presente e incisivo, mentre i fatti che accadono sono sempre più meccanici, da fiction televisivi e il fatto di restare molto in superficie accresce la sensazione di assistere a un prodotto da piccolo schermo.
  Però come puro intrattenimento il libro si fa leggere con piacere e sparsi qua e là ci sono delle perle su uomini, rapporto donna uomo e vita in genere.
