Susan Sontag's books are always one great experience.
Her amazing mind is constantly at work, as if she's telling us almost fiercely, all the times "look around you! think about what you see, make your own decisions! the world isn't just the small place you've happened to live in! it is much more, and is there for you! it is there because of you".
One can agree or not with what she says, but she is still extremely inspiring.
To me, her books are always a sort of call-up having me taking my responsibilities for my work and for all that concerns me.
Her thought about literature, cinema and photography is extremely original, her work remarkable. It's a great deal of a shame that we've lost her so soon.
