This is not a children's book

It's about learning to survive, to work together. It's about love and hate. It's about adapting to life and surrendering freedom to love. It's about redeeming and redemption.

This was technically a re-read but it had been so long since I studied it in school that I see it as a first time reading. It most definitely is an American classic novel.
