These are constructive advices if you are suffering from low self-esteem not only in man-woman relationship but also any other kind of human relations, especially those making you feel inferior to others. But you can truely get benefit from this book only if you put the advices to practice.
However, I doubt the validity of the writer's opinions in countries with different culture, e.g. China and Japan, where male chauvinism is popular and independent women are regarded as real "bitches".
