Second time reading. This time as a men's group study. The book does an excellent job of starting some great conversations about identity, dreams, hurts, fears, etc. The book explores how we have lost a sense of what it means to be a man. Eldredge’s premise is that men were made for danger and adventure to be a part of something larger than themselves; to take on something that tests their strength. He illustrates how modern society, and particularly the church, have tried to neuter men into something more tame. Read again before raising boys. Many excellent quotes.
