A.A.Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh stories need no introduction. They have been loved by generations of children ever since Pooh, Christopher Robin, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga and Roo, and Eeyore made their first appearance.

Why was Winnie-the-Pooh given his name even though he was a boy? I didn't know that Pooh was a bear with very little brain. Got to know the characters of all his friends too from this book. Enjoyable.

Somehow, too philosophical for me as an adult. Anyhow, these are treasures for children. The writings are poetic and beautiful.
