A Beautiful Journey
It took a while to get into but I can safely say that i enjoyed every page of this gem of a book, it's a masterpiece. The contrast in personalities of the two protagonists gives the meditation a sense of completeness; their heart-rending friendship played out on the stunning island of Crete.

It took a while to get into but I can safely say that i enjoyed every page of this gem of a book, it's a masterpiece. The contrast in personalities of the two protagonists gives the meditation a sense of completeness; their heart-rending friendship played out on the stunning island of Crete.
Every man can learn from and relate to Zorba's tales and every woman will better understand the nature of masculinity after reading this beautiful story of companionship, the nature of man and patriotism. A cracking read!
