After reading many fantasy tales that insist on being caught in the quagmire of youthful Elves and Gnomes being sought after by old Kings and other perverted creatures, leaving me with a dirty feeling and queasiness, it is so very refreshing to find a series that remembers what true fantasy is about. Reading the Dragon Lance series, leaves one exhilarated as it leads you on an adventure made up of pure thrills and action. These are a must for young readers as well as old, seeking true adventure without all the weird sexual undertones that seem to have their way in many a fantasy. My hats off to Weiss and Hickman.
