Ormai la Hobb sembra aver bisogno di ripetere più volte un concetto ogni due paragrafi. Solo verso la fine inizia a mostrare qualcosa di promettente, ma davvero siamo lontani dai tempi della saga dei Lungavista...

Pensavo che Tchacovsky avesse esaurito la storia con il quarto libro, invece riesce a dare nuova linfa al racconto. Non è ai livelli del precedente, ma apre vie interessanti e rimette in gioco i personaggi e il mondo attorno ad essi.
