Del fatto che negli assunti fondamentali Orwell avesse torto e Huxley ragione oramai sono convinta. La coercizione e' leva naturale per scatenare individualita' e resistenza, almeno in alcuni -il che e' sufficiente a salvaguardare un germe di coscienza nel collettivo-; l'oblio del piacere no.
