Einfach und natürlich wie ein Schluck Wasser...

Es wundert mich immer wieder. Wie eine Geschichte, eine Liebesgeschichte in diesem Fall, zärtlich und einfach erzählt werden kann, ohne langweilig zu wirken. Wie wenn man in einem Restaurant sitzt und einen Teller Spaghetti mit Sugo di Pomodoro bestellt. Man isst sie und denkt: „Die schmecken einfac ... (continue)

Es wundert mich immer wieder. Wie eine Geschichte, eine Liebesgeschichte in diesem Fall, zärtlich und einfach erzählt werden kann, ohne langweilig zu wirken. Wie wenn man in einem Restaurant sitzt und einen Teller Spaghetti mit Sugo di Pomodoro bestellt. Man isst sie und denkt: „Die schmecken einfach himmlisch gut!“
Es sind nur Spaghetti, aber richtig gekocht und mit einer einfachen, aber liebevoll vorbereiteten Tomatensauce.
Mir geht es genau so gut wenn ich Geschichten wie diese lesen darf. Es kommt leider nicht sehr oft vor.
Eine einfache Liebesgeschichte, nämlich! Die Erzählung einer grossen Liebe. Eine Liebe, die keine Zeit, keine Verführungsspiele und keine Geheimnisse braucht. Die Liebe, die durch den Bauch geht. Die Liebe von der man nie satt wird. Eine solche Liebe würden viele als „langweilig“ bezeichnen. Aber die sind nur Leute, die noch nie so viel Glück hatten, die wahre Liebe zu erkennen.
Großartig.

This is what I was left after an entire day reading the last 400 pages of this book. I am grateful I decided to read it on a weekend because the book was absolutely compelling and impossible to put down. A series of murders drive French and English police crazy. Seven deep frozen heads have been found and their identities remain unknown. Coincidentally an American doctor gets involved in an entangled mystery while trying to find the reason his father was murdered more than twenty years before. In the meantime an American detective is helping out and is convinced that the severed heads are the work of a serial killer. There also is this young and beautiful mistress of the future French prime minister who falls in love with someone else. All these people and many more find themselves connected and end up looking for answers while trying to survive a common but unknown enemy. Pure suspense in a breathtakingly story.

I’ve got quite a lot of books reviews on my “virtual” shelf! And I try to keep every review as “sincere” as I can. Well I obviously liked it somehow to read the first three books in three days, but as I was reading the fourth one I caught myself yawning quite a lot!One can really see that she’s no writer. Or at least no “good” writer. Not to compare in any ways to fantasy writers such as Rowling or Pullman just for a start. I mean in Harry Potter as well as in Pullman’s books there are studies behind: mythological as well as psychological. They create suspense and you can’t imagine what’s coming next pages after pages even after six books. Let’s face it… in this saga nothing extremely surprising happens. The love story is beautiful and you can almost live Bella’s feelings but probably only if you are a romantic soul. No “boy” or “man” could read these books without falling asleep. Nevertheless I liked it!The only two things that were unbelievably annoying were: the you-love-me, you-love-me-not struggle in the first three books… ok. It’s about two teenagers, but they’re not “normal” teenagers… just for a start one of them is over 90 years old… so after a while I caught myself thinking “oh what the hell”! The second thing was the “baby-story” in the fourth book. As if Meyer was somehow struggling to find an interesting “story” to somehow end the saga. Not Renesmee herself bothered me, but the whole entire “pregnancy” with broken rips a.s.o. I mean… come on! :-)OK… probably I am being a bit too harsh considering the speed and the time it took me to read these four books. How can I put it: it’s like those fantasy children movies you watch on a rainy afternoon. You like them. They make you daydream away happily. I am a romantic soul and couldn’t possibly not fall in love with Edward even with his most annoying side (see above) and I couldn’t help “rooting for” Bella to have her childish happy end!

Divertente? Si, divertente. Perchè a mio parere è fin troppo "surreale". Nessuna ha così tanta sfiga con gli uomini. So che c'è chi sta facendo di si con la testa per dire "certo io si!". No no... nessuna ha così tanta sfiga, mi rifiuto di crederlo, impossibile! :-D Però ragazzi le risate... almeno ... (continue)

Divertente? Si, divertente. Perchè a mio parere è fin troppo "surreale". Nessuna ha così tanta sfiga con gli uomini. So che c'è chi sta facendo di si con la testa per dire "certo io si!". No no... nessuna ha così tanta sfiga, mi rifiuto di crederlo, impossibile! :-D Però ragazzi le risate... almeno quattro o cinque prototipi di uomini finti "maturi", "decisi" e "coerenti", che alla fine risultano essere patetici bambini in corpo adulto, che non sanno cosa vogliono veramente e si sono dimenticati dove hanno messo le ... (mi avete capita no?) quelli li abbiamo incontrati tutte no? E noi? Forse noi femminucce dovremmo aprire gli occhi... lasciare perdere quelli che ci raccontano che vogliono la donna con carattere, quella interessante e che li lascia liberi di essere quello che sono, per poi vederli qualche tempo dopo con una bella bambola senza cervello o peggio ancora con quelle che li "dominano".
Ecco... gli scenari da dejavu di questo libro sono da piegarsi dalle risate. Chissà cos'hanno pensato quelli che in treno mi vedevano ridacchiare da sola!!! :-) Ragazze single e non: leggetelo. Anche qualche "uomo" temerario e dotato di un buon senso dell'umorismo potrebbe sicuramente avventurarsi a leggerlo!

Bon... on parle du livre.
C'est une histoire trés triste.
Il y a trois personnages qui sont beacoup differentes. Un pilote qui aime sa profession tellement qu'il risque sa vie. Un directeur qui semble être dur et insensible, mais qui cache bien ses vrais émotions et un inspecteur, qui voudrait être un ami puis qu'un boss.
Une tragedie annoncé, mais les chose ne changerons pas.

A me le storie romantiche di questo tipo specialmente in questo periodo di ricerca del principe verde... beh mi fanno effetto.

His wish is for her to start her own business such as a butchery or similar, but Precious, the name of Mma Ramotswe, decides to be a detective. Among her clients there are very powerful people like Mr. Patel, an Indian trader who settled down in Africa with his family. There are also wives who wants the proof of their husbands' betrayals... and even a missed child, a boy, who is supposed to have died after he was caught by a witch doctor.
A really nice and funny book.
It gives lots of smiles and good humour!

È il primo di una serie di libri (anche in italiano) sulla Miss Marple africana Mma Ramotswe, titolare della prima agenzia di detective diretta da una donna. Suo padre morto dopo una lunga malattia ai polmoni, ricordo dei suo anni in miniera, le lascia una piccola fortuna per aprire una sua attività. Lui pensava più ad una macelleria o ad un altro tipo di negozio più "normale", ma Precious (così il nome di Mma Ramotswe) decide di fare la detective privata. Tra i suoi tanti clienti, anche nomi prestigiosi come il Signor Patel, ricco indiano stabilitosi con la famiglia in Africa. Poi ci sono mogli che vogliono prove dell'infedeltà dei propri mariti... e persino un bambino scomparso, che si teme sia finito in mano a uno "stregone" per fare una bruttissima fine.
Un libro veramente carino e divertente.
Regala sorrisi e buon umore!

Uno dei più grandi critici culinari del mondo sta morendo. Nel suo letto di morte vaga tra i ricordi della sua vita, dall'infanzia in poi per trovare quel sapore, che lo aveva rapito più di tutti. Intanto intorno a lui, la moglie devota, ma mai amata veramente; i figli e nipoti, tranne uno solo, disprezzati e ignorati sin da bambini; il gatto e persino la statua di Venere raccontano l'uomo con il cuore di pietra in grado di amare veramente solo il cibo. Le pietanze e le sensazioni che svegliano tutti i suoi sensi e specialmente gusto, odorato, vista e tatto sono descritti quasi come in una poesia. Tuttavia il libro non mi è piaciuto.

Fresco, divertente e fantasioso. Niente a che fare con una letteratura impegnata, ma si legge bene! La storia autoironica, in prima persona di Elli, innamorata di un uomo con il quale ha avuto una fugace storia d'amore e che viene a sapere, partirà a breve per andare a vivere in un'altra città con la sua fidanzata. Parte la corsa al riconquistare l'amore perduto e tutti i mezzi sono leciti. Un riassunto forse un pò esagerato di come noi donne ci dimentichiamo dell'orgoglio quando siamo innamorate. E una carrellata sui due tipi di uomini esistenti: gli stronzi e quelli che invece hanno paura di rischiare e mettersi in gioco. Capita spesso che nella vita vincano i primi (forse solo a me), ma chissà in questo libro, più che altro indirizzato a lettrici più che a lettori, anche se credo sarebbe molto divertente anche per i maschietti!
