  • Feels like something's missing from making it the epic moments in the lives of Rogues and Xavier as this story was meant to be, but certainly a great deal of changes happened and I'm very curious about the future of this series. Still, it's a bit of a missed opportunity for something huge.

Best volume so far. Devastating events are changing everything and promise even more changes. Many subplots are making sure that each character has his moments. As usual, Peter David provides touching, funny, scary and thrilling stories. The artists manage to keep the art consistent with the story and depict very well the different kind of situations the characters are in. Even after 45 issues, X-Factor keeps getting better and being consistently one of the best, if not the best, series in the mutant landscape.

At last Uncanny X-Men has a clear direction! Since Brubaker came in, the stories have been quite slow and without a clear purpose. Now Fraction has given this series some life, funny dialogues and most of all a great deal of storyarcs, big and small, cohexisting and pushing the series and the characters forward. Fraction is probably the author that has most cleared his mind about what to do with the series since the Casey run... and we're talking about eight years ago! Looking forward the Sisterhood storyarc to see if I'm wrong or this series is really recovering from many years of poor writing.

Probably the best collaboration of Gaiman and McKean. Truly a masterpiece in the writing, the concept, and the beautiful art. Powerful scenes show what's inside - and around - a man in his last days. Perfect.
