這個改編的聖經故事實在太誇張－－我是指音效，詞句，戲劇的誇張。實在不是我期待中的簡單樸實，給兒童讀的版本。問題是，這明明就是給３，４歲幼兒的搞笑版，８歲的兒子卻非常喜歡。大概是我兒子太晚開竅了。他要給四個星的話，自己的書櫃上給，我還是以我的眼光，給個普普通通不怎麼喜歡。

Kingfisher Knowledge這套書籍圖文並茂，印刷精美，開本大，字體大，不僅適合兒童少年閱讀，成人讀來也很輕鬆。其中DNA雙螺旋結構畫的真是漂亮，從Ｘ染色體的形狀，拉引放大到彩色的ATCG鍵結的雙螺旋，讓人一目了然。８歲的兒子看了立刻就懂。我問他DNA複製的基本原則，第２３對性染色體的結果，他都能回答。這是我國中（XY染色體），高中（DNA）以至研究所（雙螺旋結構）才學到的基礎，這本書讓小學三年級生在幾天的時間內，讀得輕鬆愉快，了解幾課生物基本知識，的確值得推薦。
