Okay before even commenting this book i need to tell you i'm a big fan of Vice magazine so maybe i was expecting too much, way too much.
The book is the diary of one of Vice's columnists, Lesley Arfin, covering her youth and then calling her - at the time - friends to hear what they think about what happened in those years. Basically is just another story of a junkie going on and off, rehab and back in the tunnel and off again. The last couple of pages are the truly interesting ones and at the same time very disappointing, anyone could have wrote this book, after all is just the story of a girl as many others in the world now.
It made me think "man i could have wrote this crap too" but,in the end, is just a matter of who gets to be published first. She wins and I lose twice: first cuz i could have done the same, secondly cuz i wasted my money on something that could have been written by myself aswell. MHH.
