I think both the philosophy and the history of science are of paramount importance to the study and practice of science. It is pity that many scientists neglect them nowadays.
This book may not be the best one, but surely it is a good introductory of the subject and a good revision for me.
I love Coelho's <Alchemist> and <Zahir>. But this book is a bit "too much" for me.
The book talks about Coelho's search for Spirituality when he did his prilimage in Spain. It contains many descriptions on mystic rites, which are not always agreeable to me.
Indian philosophy has a development history of over 5,000 years. It is really very difficult to present the topic in a "Very Short Introduction". The topics covered in the book appears to be very much simplified.
