Rage of Angels is a fast paced, sometimes too fast, book with suspense. The main character draws you in, you will root for her and share her ups and downs.

I wish I had been introduced to Sebastian Faulks' work before. His words flow on the paper seamlessly, like music. I adore not only the plot, I also relished how the author made me forget who I was and allowed me to truly be immersed in this world. Though painful to read about the war their are moment of beauty, which is all to real. I would recommend this book to anyone, even if you are not into epic novels, because the underlying love, scenery, and courage makes it worth a look.

I would only recommend reading this book if you have not watched the series on television. The reason being: Dexter, on TV, is very clever and comes across sincere when he attempts to adapt in the "human" world. In the book however he comes across as a pompous ass who think that he is the only one with any intelligence. I think the book would have been better not being written in first person and if Dexter, or the writer, had not made so many condescending remarks about all the other characters. Note: just because you get away with murder does not make you some kind of super genius.

Wow, if you are looking to hear from the voice of the literary past, this is the book for you. The fairy tales spring from the pages, and the artwork is most delightful. I will confess some of the short stories are very strange, but speak volumes to what was going on during the time. I would highly recommend this book, especially to those who have children. Though some stories are dark, it gives the reader a new look on the world around.

I loved the beginning, really got into the story, the suspense built, and then, I don't know, I didn't like the idea of the Pagans protecting the secret, it didn't seem to make sense. Oh well, I would still recommend reading it, as I did finish it quickly and enjoyed the story line for the most part.
