This book is awesome, it's a graphical diary written in photographs which tells her daily life with her friends. Some of these pictures can be seen at Tate Modern. You don't need any explanation there. It's just what it is, life. In pictures.

*A young girl si dancing at a provincial disco - to "Wishing on a star" - dancing in a very provocative way. *

Tracey is an artist, a good artist, and her works have that something that makes you wonder why didn't you think of it by yourself before.
This book is more than anyone could expect by a world famos still living artist. It is more than a biography, more than an essay: it's a key to all of her works.
Every single word is so strong that you feel compelled to read and read without stopping and when it's over you just find yourself going astray, and something hurts.
She's a writer on her best and her words are just another work of art.
