I couldn't wait for this book to be mine, but the Italian translation would have come out too late! So, I asked a friend to lend me his copy bought in England.
I've been glad to find many explications for "mysterious" things in the previous books, but I expected to learn what Dudley had seen when attacked by the Dementors... I liked the way characters were shown - no one of them is perfect, even the good ones - and I can definitely say: Harry is NOT my favourite character! Without Hermione's brilliant mind he would have been lost; but maybe this makes him nicer, nobody likes perfect heroes.
I didn't like how the story went on; very slow at first, it seemed that many chapters were the never-ending preparation for the final fight, that was too fast in my opinion.
But I enjoyed the book, seriously.
And I definitely LOVED what Harry saw in Snape's Pensive. Unluckily, a friend of mine told me before I could read that Snape was on the good side; so she spoilt me the surprise.
“After all this time?”
“Always,” said Snape.
