Defintely disappointing. If you're looking an account of Afganistan which parallel to the Kite Runners, my advice goes to you is, don't even try to pick up the book.

墓碑(上篇)
不久前到台灣金門走了一轉，才慨嘆戰爭如何令生靈塗炭。回來後讀《墓碑》，竟發現再慘烈的戰爭也比不上暴政專權的禍害，古云暴政猛於虎，遍及全國的「人相食」，真是令人不忍卒睹。餓很瘋了，良知竟成了奢侈品，不禁慶幸自己生於這個幸福年代，可以堂堂正正地做一個人。
感謝作者堅毅地寫成此書，不知怎的，很希望這段大饑荒，有天能拍成紀錄片。
