    My Favourite Red Book

Such an eye-catching book written by recognized historians with lots of exciting photographs and informative maps. I carried this big heavy book with me for two weeks wherever I went like a little kid. Learning about Marx is just so much better with witty cartoons and flavorful illustrations. Isn't it right that most of us would just rather live in peace time and cultivate moral progress? It is thus our responsibility indeed to be heedful of any lobbying for short term gains at the expense of long term stability. ... (continue)

Cover of How the Mind Works
  • A brilliant book that helps us to gain insights about our lives through cognitive science and evolutionary biology.
